Anubis Publications [www.anubis.gr] was founded in the summer of 1991 as a branch of Compupress S.A. [www.compupress.gr] and nowdays has been established as one of the most dynamic greek publishing house.

In latest years Anubis Publications has been active mostly in the field of fantasy literature. Beginning with the publication of works by the famous Guy Gavriel Kay and its collaboration with the Hasbro’s publishing division, Anubis holds a prominent position among the publishing houses of this sector.

Its effort continued with the publication of some classic titles of the field, like the Dune Chronicles of Frank Herbert, the books of the series Shannara by Terry Brooks and the authoring work of the multiawarded Peter S. Beagle.
Following the modern tendancies and evolutions, Anubis Publications catalogue has been expanded with the work of the most significant new representants of the field ,such as Robin Hobb, Terry Goodkind, David Gemmel, as well as with the circulation of books that belong in the worlds of Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Warcraft, Warhammer and Starcraft.

Important additions are the books of the series «The Song of Ice and Fire» by George R. R. Martin, which inspired the HBO TV series "Game of Thrones", multiawarded works of Dan Simmons Ilium, Olympus, Hyperion and Fall of Hyperion, as well as the international best seller «Shogun» of James Clavell. Enriching the titles of science fiction, Anubis has published the classic masterpiece of Arthur C. Clarke “2001: A Space Odyssey”, as well as Anthony Burgess “A Clockwork Orange”.

Since 2007 Anubis Publications have been collaborating with DK Publishing, publishing a series of important comprehensive guides and albums, like «Marvel Comics Encyclopedia», «The Amazing Spider-Man: The Absolute Guide», «James Bond Encyclopedia», «Soldier: A Visual Guide of the Fighting Man», «The DC Comics Encyclopedia» etc.
